About Marli Maloney Couch Events
Marli is an event planner and former caterer who has planned hundreds of weddings (and been a bridesmaid 10 times!) She started her career at Design Cuisine, the premier catering company in Washington, DC and then served as the Director of Catering at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. Since that time she has owned her own company planning events in various locations. She grew up in Dallas and has lived in Houston for the past six years. Marli's unique ideas and attention to detail create elegant and stylish weddings.

Marli has created packages for special event and wedding coordination knowing that each client is unique and each client’s needs are different. We are happy to customize packages for you for anything that falls "in between" packages.

- Prepare detailed schedule of events for your function
- Vendor contract review and confirmation
- Collect outstanding RSVP’s
- Week out meeting to confirm all arrangements and collect personal items to be used at event
- Ceremony rehearsal coordination
- Complete coordination on the day of the event
Day of Plus Coordination
Everything listed above in Day of coordination plus three additional sessions much earlier in the planning. This is a great option for those brides who want to do alot of the planning themselves but are looking for the little extra professional touch. We can help you with coordinating a total look and feel, share with you some of our favorite vendors, and give you great ideas for unique touches for your wedding.
Complete Coordination
Marli will help you plan and coordinate all the details of your event. Complete packages include all of the services above plus complete budget planning, research, attend meetings, negotiate contracts, and confirm details for the following: event site, photography, tent, videography, floral and other decor design, transportation, caterer, invitations, reception entertainment, hotels, bakery, and rental.
