Avalon Music

My husband and I got married 4-21-12 and used Avalon music to find a harpist for our wedding ceremony. I found Avalon music through theknot.com and was impressed with their high ratings and quality of service. Angela was very helpful and easy to get a hold of. She answered all of my questions and helped with the process of booking our ceremony music. Our guests enjoyed the sounds of our harpist! I highly recommend Avalon music for your music entertainment needs!

Overall, Avalon Music was wonderful! They really enhanced our ceremony and Angela Eaton is very passionate about making sure that she hires professional, well qualified musicians to play at the wedding. We booked her for the ceremony and cocktail hour and at one point, we were concerned that the selection would be too formal for the cocktail hour and wanted to cancel that portion of it. I called Avalon several months in advance to request this and Angela would not allow us to shorten the contract, which I thought was a little unflexible, considering it was 6 months out. However, she assured me that there were several songs that would fit what we wanted and closer to the date she helped us work out some changes in the start time and made sure we were 100% comfortable with everything, because she was going to be out of town on the weekend of our wedding. The musicians were perfect and we are very thankful we hired them. One thing to note, is that if you have a song in mind that is not on their list go ahead and ask them if they can play it. We wanted a traditional Jewish song played at the end of our ceremony that the whole group knew and was no problem.

Avalon Music was wonderful. They answered all of our questions quickly, provided a list of possible songs for the instruments my daughter wanted. That made music selection much easier, and provided the most beautiful musical background to a perfect ceremony.

Avalon did a great job! Before the wedding they were great. I was always able to get feedback and questions answered almost immediately. The music played during our ceremony and cocktail hour was amazing, and many guests complimented the strings. I would definitely recommend Avalon to anyone looking for music for any event.

Very beautiful music. We used two violins and a cello. Absolutely set the mood for a very elegant wedding ceremony, which is exactly what my daughter wanted. Would hire them again in a heart beat.

Angela and Avalon were great!!! Angela was very prompt when answering my questions through email and worked with me to pick out the ceremony music. I had a string trio and they were amazing. It was a great addition to the ceremony. I highly recommend Avalon!!

Avalon Music had the most reasonable prices for a harpist and provided excellent service for my wedding on 8/5/11. They were always very responsive to my emails and phone calls and were always friendly. Laura, the harpist who performed at my ceremony, was there way ahead of time, came up to greet me and told me she would take care of everything. And she did! She did a fabulous job, playing everything as requested. My guests loved her! I would recommend Avalon Music to everyone.

Avalon Music did a wonderful job by having a string trio at our wedding on June 18th. This company did everything in their power to help us make our special day a success, the string trio did an amazing job and they were amazing! We had a string trio perform at our ceremony and cocktail hour and they did a beautiful job! It was exactly what we wanted, and certainly added to the ambience. Angela is very easy going, and the prices are reasonable compared to some others in the area. We also booked our DJ through Angela, and we were not disappointed at all!

Angela is incredible and the Brio Trio that played at our ceremony was fantastic! There is nothing more beautiful than a flute, violin, and cello playing together and Avalon made it all happen! Angela is so easy to contact and talk to and she was so excited to play at our wedding. They are so reasonable and flexible and were punctual and beyond professional. I was so pleased and couldn't have imagined using anyone else!

Angela and Avalon Music are wonderful. They coordinated so well with our church musician, accomodated all requests, and provided such a respectful and also joyful tone to our wedding ceremony. I loved working with them and thoroughly enjoyed their music on our wedding day. Highly recommended!

Quartet were excellent we had many compliments on them - they were suitably attired and they really looked well. Was difficult to get a response from the company in the weeks before the wedding but I did eventually get responses and overall the quality of the service was excellent.
