Behind the Bash Catering & Events

The food was good. Everyone talks about it when they speak of the reception. The empanadas were AWESOME!!!!

Behind the Bash is a professional group of caterers with the yummiest of food. Everyone RAVED about the bacon wrapped shrimp, the BBQ and the service. They were so kind to let us take our napkins home to tie ribbon around them so we could save on cost. You want to use these guys! They have lots of menu options available to you, yet they make it easy for you to make a decision that suits your style.

A rating of 5 is not high enough. We attended two food tasting and could not wait for the day of our event to continue to enjoy this deliciously prepared menu. Rachael and her team do an absolutely excellent job. Not only is the food good, but the presentation is just breath taking. We also enjoyed the seated synchronized service which then took it to a whole new level. Truly enjoyed meeting and working with Rachel through this entire experience. Great group of people. Thanks for helping make this event all that we had expected.

Rachel is so easy to work with and her food is amazing! She and her staff are very professional and make your wedding so relaxing. My husband and I had a sweetheart table and our food was on the table with the drinks we had requested by the time we finished our first dance and went to eat. Her food is a little pricey, but totally worth it! She was very flexible to work within our budget and offer options that were affordable.

Food was fantastic! Everything they make is delicious! My parents, Stephen, and I went for a tasting and could not believe how everything we tasted was absolutely wonderful. You cannot go wrong with anything on their menu.Mistie, our event coordinator, was on top of everything! She took the time to meet with us at the venue, understand our style and what we wanted. She met with us for the tasting. She worked with my mom. She kept us on track at the reception! She thought of everything and checked on everything. My mom and I could truly relax and enjoy every moment of our celebration.My only complaint is that it was all over too soon! We had a ball!Behind the Bash is excellent at what they do. I highly recommend them.

Some of the best wedding reception food I've eaten. We were going to have to vegan guests attended and they were more than willing to provide a vegan friendly meal for those two guests. The food was delicious and we heard compliment after compliment from guests over it!

BTB was amazing and the food was spectacular. I had guest come up to me all night to tell me how much they enjoyed the food. Rachel is an awesome person to work with and she makes everything so easy so you do not have to stress on your wedding day! I loved it!

The Venue is beautiful, however it all comes with a cost. 2 weeks before our wedding we where informed that the person who had been helping us for the past 9 mo. would not be there on our wedding day. We had always been told that if we wanted to purchase an extra hour that there would not be an issue. We had a very large wedding. In our party we had 20 people, not to mention about 300 guests. They did not mention time to us until we only had 30min till our event was supposed to end. At that time I had not even gotten to dance with my grandfather, or done the dollar dance, our dance part of the reception was only about 45min. We asked if we could purchse an extra hour, & we where told no that it had to be done in advance. This was the 1st time anyone had ever said that to us. I was already very upset by this, then after the fact they charged us for an extra hour which obviously we didn't stay for. My only food complaint is that I had several people tell me that they did not get any cake. They said the the cake was passed out to the tables, and then was picked back up by the cattering service before everyone had a chance to eat it.

Not your ordinary buffet menu! Food was very upscale and definetly better than any wedding food I have ever had! Rachel is very easy to work with also.

I loved BTB catering. Rachel was such a pleasure to work with. She went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. I was so excited and looking forward to the food after our tasting. The food at the tasting was SPECTACULAR!! Wedding day came and the service was amazing! We had a seated dinner with synchronized service and wine service. It was impeccable. The food was okay though. I think I was looking forward to the food so much and it wasn't what I expected after the tasting. The fillet mignon steaks were too red in the middle which was okay for some guests but definitely not me or my groom and most of our family members. That being said though, I would definitely use BTB catering again in a heartbeat. The food is amazing, the service is amazing, and I highly recommend them!!

Although Pricey, they did come through with wonderful service, which we received countless compliments for, for weeks!

Mysti with Behind the Bash was great!! I got so many compliments on how good the food was. It was amazing and having Mysti as our coordinator helped out so much. We were able to enjoy our day while she took care of everything else!

The food was amazing! It has been two and a half weeks since the wedding and guests are still commenting on the food!

BTB was incredible. The food was phenomenal. Many of our guests commented that it was the best food they had ever had at a wedding. Mysti was extremely helpful and accommodating to all of our requests. All of the rentals were included in the price, so we didn't have to worry about getting tables or linens and we had the meal served family style which worked out wonderfully. I would suggest them to anyone for catering a special event. I also used them for event coordinating services and I probably wouldn't suggest them for that. There were several things that didn't go as planned and I was a little disappointed. I think that some of them were due to my lack of communication, but I think I would have been happier if I had hired someone who didn't already have a lot on their plate for the day.

Behind the Bash did an excellent job catering our wedding. The food was raved about and there was plenty of it. Mysti was a Day of Coordinator for us, and she kept everything running smoothly, made sure we always had a glass in hand, and that we got down time to ourselves and time to eat. Planning the catering was fairly easy. We attended an open house where we got to try a lot of food and then had a private tasting. I would definitely recommend Behind the Bash.

Behind the Bash catered our wedding at Briscoe Manor (they are the required in-house caterers.) We were EXTREMELY pleased with the service and quality of the food! They had a private tasting for all the brides booked at Briscoe and it was amazing... SO much good food to choose from. We had a private meeting (phone conference for me since I was located in a different city) and Rachel was very accommodating. She was honest and down to earth and helped me decide on our menu when I had questions about what most people prefer to something else. When you book at Briscoe Manor, you're required to match catering costs to a minimum costs spent on booking the venue. I think we ended up spending more on catering than we did on the venue (to feed about 200 guests a full dinner buffet & open bar (beer/wine/champagne).)In between the ceremony and reception, they served passed appetizers and an open bar in the courtyard area of Briscoe Manor, then provided an excellent dinner buffet in the ballroom, shortly following. We got a lot of great feedback on how delicious the food was.Overall, we were very pleased with the service and quality of the food provided by Behind the Bash.

The reception was beautiful, the service was friendly, but we were assured that there had never been any mishap with money missing. We gave the keys to a Behind the Bash employee at the end of the night to pull up the car, and when we came back later a gift that was left in the car had been opened and money had been taken out. they were the only ones with access to the car the whole time. It is despicable that one has to worry about the sales representative on such a wonderful day.

Absolutely delicious! Everyone was raving about the food at the wedding. I want to go back just so I can eat there again. SOOOOO amazing! They are incredibly flexible in adapting a menu to suit you and creating special plates for guests who may be on specific diets. Rachel and her team are fantastic!

EVERYONE loved our food!! It was amazing. We also got our ice sculpture from them and it was perfect! Behind the Bash knows what they are doing!
