Cafe Natalie Catering

Cafe Natalie's service was the absolute least of our worries. We never felt like we had to check up/in on them to make sure they knew what we wanted or how we wanted it or whether they knew what time we needed x or y. They were simply perfection through and through. All our guests raved about their excellent food, the delicious chocolate fountain, and the excellent bar service. Cafe Natalie met all our needs and exceeded our expectations at every turn. We had several guests who said that their children who are usually very finicky eaters were eating everything! If that doesn't speak volumes about how delicious the food was, I don't know what does! Thank you, Cafe Natalie, for easing our fears and providing better service than we could have ever hoped for!

We had a wonderful pre wedding tasting and were allowed to take our time and sample anything and everything. The tasting was delicious and the quality of the food at the actual reception was just the same and received many great comments on the food. Very professional and punctual and good presentation.

Chris at Cafe Natalie was wonderful to work with, the food was great, and the service was fantastic! I highly recommend this caterer. He was very instrumental in making my daughter's wedding the wonderful event it was.

If I had to plan a wedding all over again, the first vendor I would call would be Cafe Natalie. Cafe Natalie provided catering for food and beverages at our wedding on March 2, 2012. All of our guests loved the food!! We wanted to have an ice cream cookie bar station and they were also able to provide this as well. Our guests could not stop talking about the ice cream cookie bar. Chris and his staff are so easy to work with and they really go above and beyond to take the stress off the bride by handling everything. I can not speak more highly of Cafe Natalie and if you need a catering company you are missing out if you dont use them for your event.

Cafe Natalie provided catering and bar services at our wedding in the heights and I could not have asked for more. Chris was very thourough in the tastings and follow-up conversations to ensure that every detail was covered and that he was clear on our desires and expectations for the service. The food served (pistacio encrusted redfish and chicken parmesian) was absolutely delicious. Every single person I spoke with said that it was by far the best food they've had at a wedding. The day of the wedding was full of worries about vendors showing up on time and with the right items. Cafe Natalie made sure that we had no worries on that day. I would highly recommend them to anyone seeking a caterer. Unbeatable, especially for the price.

We were VERY VERY pleased with the food, bartending, and overall service Cafe Natalie provided for our wedding. The bartenders provided a signature drink - although a little different from the original, all our guests absolutely enjoyed it and so did I. Chris worked with us on our New Orleans themed cuisine - it came out excellent, our guests enjoyed the "not so traditional" wedding reception dinner. The servings were generous! We received many compliments on the appetizers passed around during the cocktail hour and the sliders that we offered as a late night snack. Chris worked a number of events at our reception venue so that helped in having someone very familiar. I look forward to working with Cafe Natalie and Chris again. My husband works with Cafe Natalie on a routine basis and he was absolutely pleased with them making our wedding reception all that we expected.

Cafe Natalie went beyond my expectations!!! Excellet service, quality and pricing. Before hiring Cafe Natalie as my wedding caterer I tried 3 or 4 other catering companies. None of them compare to the quality, taste and pricing of Cafe Natalie. I met Chris at one of their venues and really liked his professionalism and willingness to please his clients. The quality (taste) and presentation were amazing. Then I spoke with him about some changes I wanted to do to the menu. He was so easy to work with and got exactly what we wanted. My now husband and I had our last tasting couple of weeks before the wedding and everything taste just PERFECT!!! Chris worked with our budget and delivered a very well done final product that all our guests enjoyed. Many friends and family members told us after the wedding about how exquisite the food was. Chris thank you and your staff for making my wedding day so stressless and enjoyable. I highly recommend Cafe Natalie.

I could not have been any more pleased with Cafe Natalie. I am an undecisive person, with a very picky hands on mother. Chris made sure to help me pick out a pefect menu (7 course Vietnamese/American meal) that pleased everyone at the wedding and left my mother with nothing but praise for them. Chris, his wife, and staff went beyond the call of duty to ensure my reception went perfect. They even helped set up my wedding favors table and took care of dad who was not feeling well. I was soooo happy with them. I was also on a budget and they worked with me so I didn't have to "settle" on my big day. I had everything I wanted. It was truly a blessing to have worked with Chris Nguyen and his wife of Cafe Natalie and staff for our wedding. It was everything that we had hoped and expected. The food was absolutely just delicious....Guests are still raving about it 3 months later. The guest were so amazed with the serving proportions in comparison to other events that they had attended. The staff were dressed professionally in there attire with bow ties and white gloves. The owners wife was on site to assure everything ran smoothly. My glass stayed filled with Chardonnay, including the guests. It was just awesome. And to add the icing on the cake, at most weddings the bride and groom doesn't really get to enjoy there meal, Chris the owner made a special trip to our hotel room with food for us to enjoy that evening. What a blessing! If you want a professional who truly cares about you and your guests on your most special day, definitely hire Chris and Cafe Natalie to help make your dream event come true.

Cafe Natalie was WONDERFUL!!!! I will tell all of my friends to use them! Chris (the owner) did a great job, and was with me every step of the way through the engagement. He was kind and supportive. ?He was very helpful in creating the menu for my reception. He took the time to get to know my fiance and me. He came up with a creative and unique theme, all while respectfully staying within my budget. Chris even helped me set up my linens with a company, and volunteered to pick up and return the linens for me. On the Wedding day, the Cafe Natalie Staff were in their tux shirts and bow ties, professional to a T! You would be crazy not to book Cafe Natalie immediately!!! And I mean that from the bottom of my heart.

Chris and his team are the way to go when it comes to catering. They are very professional and went above and beyond for us on our Wedding Day. We had so many compliments on the food, Even now, when I see some of my guests, they still tell me how great the food was :) We had our Wedding and Reception at the same place, so the room needed to be swapped around after the Ceremony. They moved the chairs around for us and took care of the decorations. Chris is genuinely nice and he listened to everything we wanted. I saw him a couple of times at different Bridal shows and he remembered us. He always greeted us with a smile and a hug. If you want someone who listens, and cares about what your wants and needs are.. Cafe Natalie is the place to go! Thank you so much Chris and staff for helping make our day so special !

Just attended a wedding catered by Cafe Natalie. Delicious, hot, attractive food! They were great and I hope to enjoy catering from Cafe Natalie again soon! From a guests viewpoint -the food was outstanding and very enjoyable.

Chris and his team recently catered my wedding on June 11th @ Las Velas (Houston, TX) and they were very flexible with us from the beginning. They accommodated our initial tasting, late Friday evening as I travel weekly. Additionally, Chris and team are truly engaged into their business & industry and provided many options and formats for us to consider for our wedding, explaining pros and cons of food types, appts, layout, serving styles, costs, etc. They were also open to us bringing in special requests and learned about us, what we liked, and answered all of our questions. Two weeks before the wedding, we still didn't have everything finalized and they were very patient and understanding, offered another tasting event to specifically show case new dishes we were dreaming up to see which one we’d pick. Our struggle was not “what to serve”, it was “which one to serve”… many choices to pick from and they tasted so good. Wedding day... Chris and team were on point and delivered way above expectations. They were setup, understood timelines, worked w/ the DJ to ensure last min changes were communicated across all... their organization and delivery skills were outstanding. In terms of value... the food tasted fresh and delicious. The meat was tender, the chicken was savory, and each plate was piled high with food, second servings were welcomed and attendees went back for more. They checked in from time to time to ensure we had everything we needed. We were short handed in lighting up the candles, and they diverted resources to take care of it for us without us even asking… summarizing my experience, Chris and team truly enjoy their industry, they demand and deliver top performance of themselves, and they cook with enthusiasm… catering is merely a mechanism of delivering the food.

My wedding was on April 30 2011 at Las Velas in Houston, TX. Cafe Natalie was our Cater. Cafe Natalie was the only vendor we did a tasting with. This was because as soon as we sampled their food we knew that they would be catering our wedding. Chris from Cafe Natalie was very professional and accommodating through out our planning. The food from Cafe Natalie is season very well and packed full of flavor. Everyone who attended was satisfies with the portions and continue to rave about how great the food was. Many have even stated that they have attended many weddings and this is hands down the best wedding food they have had. Chris and his staff made sure to set aside food for us to take to the hotel after the wedding. This was great, as we were so busy through out the night interacting with our guest that we did not get to finish our food at the reception. Plus after all that dancing, my husband and I both worked up an appetite, so it was great to have food to munch on back at the hotel Thank you to Chris and the staff from Cafe Natalie for assisting in making my wedding even more special and memorable.

My wedding was on 3/12/2011. Cafe Natalie was our catering service. The food provided by them was very fresh and delicious. I ordered Shrimp Scampi, Blackened Salomon and Chicken Parmesanwe. Besides that, I also had chinese fried noodles for my parent in case they don't like the western food. All our guest and my parent all liked the food. Thanks Chris! You did a good job to arrange the catering and also gave us a peace of mind for my wedding. Also, thanks for the Chief too! Even I never see you, you really did a very good to prepare the food. I definitly give a good reference to anyone who are looking for a catering service. You won't be disppointed.

As with any bride, I went into my wedding wanting to save as much money as humanly possible. There was one thing that I wasn't willing to compromise on and that was the food, thankfully, with Cafe Natalie, I didn't have to compromise on either food quality or price. Chris did an awesome job with us from the get go, he was clear and concise on everything that was going on and maintained spot-on communication throughout the process. During the event, Cafe Natalie handled everything with the venue, had everything set up perfectly and did everything they said they were going to do and more. The staff is just beyond excellent and the food was just divine! If you ever needed a caterer for your event, you can stop looking at Cafe Natalie, cause I firmly believe that they are one of the best in town!

Chris was so helpful and patient. Our food was fantastic and everything went off without a hitch. We used Cafe Natalie for our wine & beer as well as food. The wine was fantastic and everyone loved the food. I am happy we picked them!

(I may have left a review, but my daughter's wedding date was WAY messed up and I couldn't figure out how to change it.....they were married 02/19/2011). So - here goes once more: I couldn't be more pleased we chose Cafe Natalie as our catering service! Chris was incredibly easy to work with, responded well to either phone calls or emails and worked well with our wedding planner. The food was outstanding and the portions were the perfect size. His beverage/alcohol package is not a budget-breaker and his staff was professional, informed, and aimed to please. Without a doubt, the guests we've talked to have complimented Cafe Natalie. They provide outstanding service, a beautiful place-setting, and great food for a very reasonable price. As the mother-the-bride, I can tell you that they did a fabulous job taking care of the bride and groom at the reception - they were treated as the "main event" - which there were! :-) Great job Chris!
