Don and Dawn did a fabulous job of photgraphing our wedding. The pictures are better than I could have ever imagined. They did a great job of documenting all of the important things and provided us with many more photographs than we were expecting. Don did an excellent job with our engagment pictures as well. Highly recommend!

Lakewood Photography was AMAZING to work with in every regard. Their flexibility, demeanor, and quality of work exceeded all expectations.My husband and I live in a different state than where we were married, so we knew we would require a little more flexibility than local brides and Lakewood was ready to help. Don came in early, waited patiently when we were a bit late, and altered his typical schedule to fit our needs.Don, owner, and Dawn, assistant, make a PERFECT team. As I’m sure is the case with many grooms, my husband is never thrilled with the idea of having his photograph taken- Don put him completely at ease and we got incredible, natural looking shots of my husband and his groomsmen. Dawn’s attention to detail is astounding. She made sure everything was in its place down to making sure my hair and makeup photographed the way I wanted. It only took her a few moments to realize the best angles to use while photographing me and was sensitive to features I wanted downplayed (I’m quite busty for my size and I didn’t want to look like a Renaissance fair wench, haha!)Without Lakewood Photography, I think so many things would have been missed. Dawn and Don played the role of quarterback for our big day. They calmly made sure everyone was in the right place at the right time. Our wedding party was even a bit rowdy during our post-ceremony photo session and Lakewood stepped in to make sure my husband and weren’t distracted so we could get the results we were looking for. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!In the age of digital photography, everyone seems to think they have what it takes to be a photographer, don’t be fooled. The experience of Don and his staff SHOWS not only during the wedding but also in your end result. Nearly 500 photos he took I would be proud to have in a frame in my home- you wont get that kind of quality without hiring someone with experience and education. I’m overjoyed to have worked with Don, Dawn, and all the staff at Lakewood Photography- I can’t wait to write more reviews for them. They come with my highest recommendation.

Don was great! He was quick and efficient with taking all of the traditional pictures which left plenty of time for the fun ones that really captured the moment. Lakewood Photography handled all the details in a very professional manner. We are so pleased with the wedding album (the design enabled us to include more pictures). These pictures are truly our priceless keepsakes!
