I absolutely loved Lara's flower arrangements. She did exactly what I asked and was very knowledgeable about her products. Consultations with her were extremely smooth. She was very flexible with meeting times. She arrived on time the day of the wedding and flowers were set up well in advance. She was very professional in sending pricing information and contracts, etc. I felt very comfortable with her doing my flowers and I would use her services again in a heartbeat! Thank you, Lara!

We heard about LZ Floral from the bridal extravaganza. Made an appointment and came in to talk to Lara. She was very sweet, helpful, and full of ideas. We just told her our ideas and she made it seem like it was easy. The first impressive part was we needed a bouquet within 3 days for the bridal shoot and she got it done. The part that blew us away was when we saw our pew markers for the first time, jaw dropping and in awe. She took our ideas and not only did she run with it, she made it into something even more and better. Our venue was absolutely beautiful with what she did and all of our guests were amazed. Lara was our floral design for our wedding at the Bell Tower on 34th, and she also took care of the decor in the Saint-Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. I will start by saying that she is a wonderful florist and that she really had a vision for this wedding. My husband and I are really into the japanese and 'zen' style, which means a little number of flowers put together in a 'geometric' fashion. We wanted a purple decor with a touch of orange. Everything turned out amazing. We had calla lilies, orchids, birds of paradise, tulips and bamboos in our centerpieces and in the church. She did such beautiful arrangements, it was breathtaking. I wanted to avoid having large arrangements of roses everywhere and she was so successful in doing something nice, original that was 100% 'us'. The theme of the wedding was 'Math and Science' (we are both scientists) and she helped us keep an hedgy and elegant wedding in spite of what people would say is a nerdy theme. She played a lot with the shape of the vases and containers, and with symmetry. And they kept the flowers for worship the next days in the church and I heard from so many people that the decor was really original and amazing! Just beautiful! A few problems to mention though. First, we had 8 tables, 3 arrangements for the church, one bouquet (i didn't have any bridesmaids) and a few corsages, and also some decor for the signing table and cake. For that we paid $2,500, which I don't consider too bad but still a little expensive... You have to consider though that she rented us a lot of glassware, so that may be why, but I still think we didn't have a lot of flowers for the money. Another problem was that we went away for our honeymoon and came back a week later, and my parents that were staying at my place said the flowers all died 3 days after we left and that they could only save a couple of orchids for us. Finally, our first agreement with her was that set-up was included in the price. However, the napkins and chair sashes we wanted to rent through her were 3 times more expensive to rent than to buy, so I decided to buy it online. 3 HOURS before the wedding she sent a paypal payment request asking for $150, saying that she would tie the sashes if we didn't pay that amount right away. And guess what? We didn't get the email before the wedding because we were busy doing other things (as you may guess...), so she didn't set up. Fortunately for us the lady at the venue decided to do it for free as she didn't want us to be disappointed because of a stupid last minute problem... A little disappointing, that's it. I also have to add that she wasn't very flexible in terms of the times at which we could meet with her, and in spite of her promise that we could see a sample of the centerpieces before the wedding we couldn't. But if I assume the flowers were expensive after this summer's drought, and also a little weak for the same reasons, then I can say that generally speaking she was a great choice (much better than other vendors we saw anyway!)

I was new to the Houston area when I got engaged, so I didn't know much about wedding vendors. I was referred to LZ Floral Design by my videographer (Bella Vista Productions) and I'm so glad I listened. Lara was easy to work with, quick to return phone calls and was by my side through the entire planning process. My wedding was September 3rd and the flowers were gorgeous! My bouquet was my favorite part and EXACTLY like I wanted it. Thank you Lara!!!

We were going to go with a cheaper option at first, but we are SO glad we decided to go with Lara. Everything looked absolutely beautiful and she was so on top of everything.Quality of Service: Lara would always respond to my emails containing many questions with a detailed answer for each question. She was so put together and it really made it easy for me to fine tune what I wanted. The final product was perfect and exactly as I envisioned it (which is extremely hard to do).Responsiveness: If I sent an email to Lara, I knew I would get a response within 24 hours, easy. This was my favorite thing about her. It made me feel so comfortable and made me feel like she put my wedding first (whether she did or not!)Professionalism: Lara was extremely professional and soo easy to get along with. She always answered questions and followed through with everything. She has a lot to offer too so be sure to check out her other items. I ended up getting bridesmaid gifts through her.Value: She was more expensive than our other option, but definitely worth it. She delivered a great product and peace of mind - something well worth the money when it comes down to it.Flexibility: Because Lara is a great communicator it allows her to be more flexible with your wedding. An amazing plus, if you ask me.You won't regret going with Lara and LZ Floral. She's a great person with a great product.

The wedding flowers were beautiful! I had no idea about specific flowers for the bouquets and centerpieces. I just told her what colors I had in mind and left it up to her to pick what flowers she thought was best. They turned out perfect and was just what I had in mind. She always answerd emails quickly and was a pleasure to work with.

Lara was so wonderful to work with!! She responds to emails and phone calls very quickly and is always very helpful! She was even was able to improvise and accomodate my Grandmother on our wedding day to make her flowers a wristlet instead of bout. I thouroughly enjoyed working with Lara and will always recommend her!

Beautiful and Affordable. Laura was so easy to work with! Laura was able to create my ideas and came up with lots of great ideas. I changed my mind on centerpieces a few weeks before the weeding and was able to communicate with Laura by email to come up with new and affordable ideas!

My florist was wonderful and affordable! I would deffinatly use them again!

I met Lara through the Raveneaux but she also goes to the Houston bridal expo's. She doesn't have an actual shop to visit, so you call and set up a meeting with her at where ever is convenient to you and she will bring a portfolio of what she's done so you can get an idea of what she can do. She's very flexible and I had her do both my ceremony flowers and reception centerpieces. I wasn't happy with the 1st mock centerpieces and she had no problem redoing it and recreating a 2nd mock centerpiece for me. Her prices are reasonable and always produces beautiful work in the end. For brides trying to keep their budget down - and coming from a DIY bride - if your not talented to do your bouquets yourself using silk flowers, you can't really get much reasonable than LZ Floral. Save yourself the headache and multiple trips to Micheal's-I recommend her to anyone

Lara was an absolute joy to work with! I can be kind of picky, and sometimes it can be hard to express just exactly what I want. Lara just gets it! She understood my vision perfectly, and the resulting flowers were better than I could have imagined. She was super-easy to work with and to get in touch with. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone!!

Lara is amazing! She worked really well with me and the flowers were perfect. I made a last minute adjustment to my order and she worked with me without any problems.

My flowers were beautiful! I got so many compliments on them and I couldn't have done it without Lara. Lara was extremely helpful, all the way from the first meeting to the day of! She was also very flexible with me because I had family be unable to come at the last minute so she changed the corsage and boutonniere number at the last minute for me. Lara, made my wedding day absolutely beautiful!!! From the ceremony floral arrangements, the reception centerpieces, and all the bouquets,bouts, and corsages I could not have imagined anything better. She truly is dedicated to her work and goes out her her way in helping make the best day of your life amazing! Lara was great to deal with. We knew after the first meeting that she was a "get it done" person and learned that after we COMPLETELY changed our vision for the flowers that she was flexible as well. She was professional 100% of the time and went out of her way to accomodate our requests...which one was a new arch for the ceremony. The arch was AMAZING and made the pictures from our day gorgeous. Since we live in Manhattan she made sure she stayed in contact with us through out the entire planning period.THANKS LARA!!!!!
