We feel in love with Rockefeller Hall the moment we stepped inside. They recently updated the colors inside to more neutral palette so it looks every more beautiful if that's possible. During our wedding so many guests commented on how great and pretty the space was. Our wedding there was everything we could have hoped for. Deborah was a pleasure to work along with the rest of the Rockefeller Hall team.

From the moment we visited Rockefeller Hall and met with Deborah and Lisa, we knew that this was the right place for my daughter's wedding and reception. We also knew that these were the right people to work with for such an important event. Rockefeller Hall had such a great Houston history and a great feel from the instant we walked in. Yes, we went to visit other venues around the city but none gave us the look and the feel that Rockefeller Hall had, so we booked it the next week. Then over the next several months, we worked with Deborah on the details for the evening and with Lisa for all the decorating and flowers...we were part of an experienced, professional, friendly, and amazing team. There was never a question that was too small or an issue too big that they did not immediately help us out with, even if it had nothing to do with their part of the wedding. We wanted a specific "look" for the flowers and decorations and Lisa and Cindy with Rockeflowers nailed it! They were also able to completely camoflage all the equipment, instruments, and stands of a 6 person rock band on the stage so that NO one knew it was there during the ceremony...amazing! On the day and night of the wedding, Deborah and her staff were on top of every detail. I would start to ask a question, and Deborah would already have handled whatever it was. I was able to completely enjoy the wedding and reception knowing that there was not one thing that could possibly happen that the Rockefeller people would not be more than capable of handling...bottom line is, IF there was anything that went wrong that night, none of us knew it...it was perfect.Weddings are not a cheap endeavor, and Russ and I prefer to spend our money with people that do a great job but also with people that we like and with Rockefeller Hall and Rockeflowers, we did just that. We had a great evening for our daughter and for our friends and family that they all enjoyed and have wonderful memories thanks to Deborah and Lisa who we now consider our friends. I highly recommend Rockefeller Hall and Rockeflowers but only if you want to have a gorgeous, fabulous, wonderful experience and event.

I recently worked with Lisa Porter at Rockefeller Hall to host a surprise birthday party for my wife. The party involved hosting an out of town band, bringing in a catered dinner buffet and providing for the many logistical issues needed (security, valet, servers, bar staff, etc...) I could not have been more happy with the service that Lisa and her staff provided, and they created an atmosphere for a lovely evening for my wife's party. The place looks so good at night, and the acoustics are great for live music.On reflection, they really provide much more than simply a venue. They really had great ideas and effectively provided most of the party planning that I needed to be able to pull this off. And their execution on the evening of the party was just excellent; I did not get a single complaint from anyone and the staff was very professional and polite.

Chris and I worked with Lisa and Deborah at Rockefeller Hall for our August wedding and we could not have imagined a more perfect evening in our minds. It was truly a beautiful, elegant, and professionally coordinated event. The attention to detail was fantastic from the floral arrangements, colors, recommendations for catering, etc etc. Lisa and Deborah listened to everything we imagined we wanted it to be like and made it happen. Our families and friends all made comments of how beautiful the venue was. Many said "it was unbelievably perfect" and "THE most beautiful wedding they had ever attended." Chris and Christy Craig

Rockefeller Hall was amazing!!!! Not only was it beautiful, but Lisa Porter and the other ladies were a dream to work with. I had full confidence in telling Lisa my budget for flowers and just having her design and create all the floral arrangements without my approval and everything came out just fantastic. She also hunted down an amazing deal with a linen company and was absolutely organized and accomodating to what I had visioned my wedding to look like. They easily included my Korean tea ceremony and help set up and take down all the setup required for the ceremony. Lisa was unable to be the coordinator the actual night of my wedding, but Deborah stood in for her and they fully communicated amongst themselves. Everything I planned with Lisa occured and everything went so smoothly. My only negative thought to Rockefeller was that when my husband and I were leaving, the exit from the front door to the street where the limo was waiting is really short so the exit line with the sparklers was really short too. It made for a bit of an quick and awkward departure, but that is a small point in consideration to how amazing the rest of the night was. I still get compliments to this day as to how great and beautiful my wedding was. The ladies are fantastic to work with and I only wish I could have another event in the future where I could use them again.
The Happiest "Mother of the Bride"

To the Brides and "Mother of the Bride" in particular! As the Mother of the Bride you set out on this jounrney with you daughter to ensure that all of the dreams she's had from the time she was a little girl to the day she walks down that isle comes true for her. As my daughter and I set out to plan the perfect wedding we soon discovered that the information and preparation that goes into making an event of this magnitude happen was mind-boggling! After a melt-down or two we relinquished our efforts and called upon Rockefeller Hall to help us. From our first introduction and second interview we were sold, we immediately felt as though "we were embarking on this adventure with family" and we soon become hopefully that Desiree's dream wedding would actually become her reality. From the "vision" planning, to budget meetings, reviewing countless menu options, to viewing vast array of florals, discussions about lightning options, music arrangements, photographers, limo service, hotels for our out of town guests, etc...RH left nothing to chance! Desiree and Josh had the most beautiful wedding and the reception was a true "family reunion/party". This is not only my opinion but the reponses of countless friends and family who attended that evening. Today, eight months later, I'm still receiving comments on what an amazing wedding it was! My only regret is that I have only one daughter...because I would certainly do this all over again.To Lisa, Deborah and Cindy and all of the RH staff.."Thank You" will never be sufficient!!

We hosted a wedding reception for almost 300 family members and friends at Rockefeller Hall for our daughter. The night was perfect! The food was superb, the atmosphere was fabulous, the flowers were exquisite, the linens beautiful. The organization at Rockefeller's was outstanding. The professionalism was overwhelming. Lisa Porter and the staff at Rockefeller's are a magnificent team. They didn't miss a detail. It was perfect! Everyone had a wonderful time. What a wonderful way for my daughter and her husband to start their life together. You will NOT be disappointed. What a beautiful, fabulous, unique, classy, historical place! Rockefeller's "ROCKS"!!! The people at Rockefeller Hall REALLY know what they're doing! I could not have asked for a better reception. Because we planned our wedding ourselves, we were naturally a little nervous about everything turning out okay. The staff at Rockefeller Hall really stepped in and did more than I expected. They were ALWAYS quick to respond to e-mails and phone calls, and they wrote down everything we ever mentioned. The final meeting with them went smoothly because they already knew exactly what we wanted.The site itself was gorgeous! We received many compliments from our friends and family. There are two levels of seating for the reception, and though you would think the "upstairs guests" would feel left out, this wasn't the case at all. In fact, our guests upstairs LOVED their seating because they always had a view from the balconies of the dance floor and "events" downstairs. I really appreciated the history behind the building; it wasn't just another typical wedding reception venue.Everyone was so attentive and organized. The servers were even snapping pictures for us with our table cameras by the end of the reception. I was so impressed! They even loaded up my parents' car at the end of the night with the flowers, gifts, and leftovers.

Our experience with Rockefeller Hall was magical. We chose the Hall for my daughter's November wedding reception. The building speaks for itself. It is a beautiful part of Houston?s history and is just visually stunning. However it was the team at Rockefeller Hall that made this experience perfect. My daughter and son in law live in California but wanted their wedding in Houston. It was definitely a challenge to plan a wedding across states but we could not have had a better support team than we found at Rockefeller Hall. We worked directly with Deborah and we were so confident in her ideas and suggestions that we also asked Rockefeller Hall to handle catering, flowers and decor. In addition, we would have been lost without their expert recommendations of other vendors they have worked closely with in the past. We went with their suggestions for DJ, Photographer, Videographer, Transportation and the most wonderful Wedding Cake. And we could not have been more pleased. The reception was perfection. Their team runs like a fine-tuned machine. One of our guests referred to the staff as orchestrated perfection. These people know what they are doing! We had shopped a few other venues in the beginning, however once we met with Deborah, we realized immediately that no other venue even came close to making us feel so confident. Deborah was our rock. Our guests felt as welcome there as they do in our home. We have recommended Rockefeller Hall and their wonderful team to everyone we know.

Working with Lisa made all of my planning headaches disappear. Lisa coached us through the entire planning process and helped make difficult decisions much easier. It was immediately clear to us that Lisa's intention was to give us the wedding we wanted. We never felt pressure to make certain decisions or purchases that didn't fit our desires. She worked with us on every aspect of the evening and was always mindful of our budget. Our ceremony and reception went so smoothly because of Lisa and great staffing. All of our guests had a wonderful evening and raved about the venue. We are so pleased we picked Rockefeller Hall for our special event. After two years of marriage, we still think back to what a great celebration Lisa helped us achieve.

We are SO happy we had our wedding reception at Rockefeller Hall!! We were debating between a couple of different options, and went with Rockefeller because they took care of so many things in-house. I knew things would get hectic as the wedding approached, and did it ever! I was so relieved to know that things at the reception hall were being handled professionally, but also with style & grace. I didn't have to worry a bit! During the reception, they even made an effort to seek out both families and make sure they had food & drink. I found that out later, and was so thankful to hear someone was thoughtful enough to look after our moms!! We received so many compliments on how beautiful the venue was, too!! It's the best of all worlds. In retrospect, I can't even imagine having our reception anywhere else. They were fantastic.

This was our first wedding to plan and execute, and the staff at Rockefeller Hall became our "wedding planner" as to the reception. It's an eclectic, historic structure well suited for receptions and well handled. Lisa and Deborah couldn't have been nicer and more helpful in working with us and the florist and band, and helped us keep the event moving while it was underway. All in all, ours was a wonderful experience and we can't help but put a lot of that on Rockefeller Hall and their staff.

This was an absolutely amazing venue. After the wedding everyone who attended my wedding was raving about the beauty of the building. It is so gorgeous inside we hardly had to decorate. I would recommend this venue to any bride.

I could not have picked a better place to hold my wedding and reception. The entire night I was showered with compliments on everything from the food (catered by RH) and the flowers, bar (also done by Rockhall). It was a magical evening and my new husband and I couldn't have asked for more. The hall was a tad expensive, $3000 for the rental on a Saturday night and catering came to around $3000 and the bar $2400, flowers $2500 and rental of linens $500, security $350. Albeit expensive for some couples we found the responsiveness of the vendor great and the one-stop shop factor very convenient since my husband and I have tight schedules. We had approximately 80 guests.

I am really glad I chose Rockefeller Hall for our wedding. Everything turned out to be beautiful, and the team there did a great job putting all my wishes into reality. All of our guests loved the venue and gave us so many compliments. I loved that I could use their services for everything - catering, bar, valet, security, linens, flowers, etc. It saved the hassel of having to shop around for multiple vendors. When I first met with them they really sold me on their level of service, and I set my expectations pretty high. Throughout the planning process, I thought their level of service was good, but it wasn't quite what they claimed it would be. They could be slow to respond to emails, would reschedule appointments last minute, etc. But in the end, our reception turned out to be exactly what I had asked them for, and they really captured all the details I was wanting. I was so pleased with the final product.
