Speculoos Patisserie & Cafe

Even with Hurricane Ike causing major issues, Speculoos Bakery still delivered our beautiful wedding cake. There were some bumps in the road due to the hurricane but overall the experience was relatively smooth.

After our tasting at Speculoos my husband and I had decided that was the bakery we wanted to use. The cake was delicious and the pictures of their previous work were creative and impressive. I was having a beach themed wedding and I wanted a cake in the shape of a sand castle. I had brought pictures of cakes I had seen and asked if that was possible. Speculoos was the only Bakery that was willing to attempt the wedding cake I wanted and it turned out FABULOUS! I got so many compliments on not only the look of both our cakes but the taste. The cakes turned out prefect. I plan on ordering more cakes from Speculoos for other special occasions.

I did a lot of research when planning my wedding and Speculoos was by far the best bakery in town! I wanted them from the moment I read all the reviews I had found and after seeing the website! Our wedding cakes (wedding cake & groom's cake) were elegant, beautiful and very delicious!!! Their pricing is very affordable! Everytime I'm in Galveston I stop in and thank Becky (who did our cakes!) and buy some pastery treats because everything they make is so yummy!!!

Becky is awesome! She had so many cakes, flavors, and icings to offer, and they were all amazing! She put the tasting together in 1 day, and spent a lot of time with me explaining the differences, and offered help when I didn't know what I wanted. She worked with me over the phone, since I live out of state, and I emailed a picture that I designed, and wanted my cake to look like. She got it perfect, and the cake was amazing!!!
