Virginia's Cakes

I was blown away by how beautiful our wedding cake was! Virginia did such an amazing job! What sets Virginia's cakes apart is how wonderful they taste! Absolutely amazing! Would highly recommend!

My highest recommendation! The cake was not only spectacularly pretty but also AMAZINGLY delicious. everyone said afterward how yummy the cake was! She's professional, responsive, really listens, and above all an excellent baker.

Delicious and beautiful! Virginia was able to help us create our wedding cake and grooms cake and they both turned out perfect. We had a lot of cake leftover because we overestimated our headcount when we initially met with Virginia but we froze the leftovers and enjoyed eating them when we got back from the honeymoon =). Sometimes it was difficult to get a hold of Virginia by phone or email but overall great experience!

Dream come true cake. Almost everyone at my hubby's family's church uses her for cakes and now I see why!!! The cake was one thing I wasn't as super concerned about and was so trusting of her work. I had forgotten my photos when we met but just by describing it, she totally understood, showed me a couple of pictures of other cakes she had done, and I picked one out. WOW! It looked SO amazing in person and the cake was SO yummy!! Everyone has come up to us since about how good it was (my favorite was the amaretto cake with raspberry filling - YUM!!) Ladies, with all the stress involved in the wedding planning, you'll be doing yourself a favor by choosing Virginia's! They were just so easy to work with! :)

Virginia's Cakes is amazing!! They provide such tasty cake! We had her create our wedding cake and our groom's cake. The wedding cake was four tiers of special white cake with raspberry and strawberry cream cheese layers. Our groom's cake was a chocolate cake with chocolate mousse filling. All I can say is YUMMY!! Our guests LOVED our cakes. They were so moist and delicious. I didn't want to cut into the cakes because I didn't want to ruin the beautiful work. I really liked her work because she didn't use fondant icing. Some people want that icing because it makes the cake look sleek and beautiful, but it doesn't taste good. Well I am a buttercream person and our cake was so beautiful and it tasted better than I remember at the tasting! She was able to design our cakes from ideas we had in our heads and a couple of elements we liked out of several photos. She did an excellent job of adding our special "Hidden Mickeys" in the wedding cake. Some of our guests came upto us saying that they received a slice that had one on it!! How fun! The groom's cake was so cute! It was perfect for my husband. I actually think our guests took more pictures of his cake than of the wedding cake! :) She is such a lovely lady and wants her clients to be happy. We were beyond thrilled to have her as our vendor for our special day. Virginia's Cakes really strives for the best and in my opinion they exceeded it!! Thank you so much!!

I tried many cakes in the area and Virginia's cakes won hands down. Her cakes are delicious! They are truely homemade and all my guests could not stop talking about how yummy the cake was.

My wedding cake was exactly like I wanted it and tasted amazing! Virginia is a wonderful woman who can create the image in your head. I had so many compliments on the taste and appearance - "The best wedding cake I've ever had" was heard many times! I loved her!

Without any doubt Virginia makes the tastiest wedding cakes of anyone! Our wedding cake was devoured in about 10 minutes by all our guests. Many of them saying they'd never tasted a cake so good. We got the Italian cream flavor and chocolate flavor. They were equally delicious. Also, the cake was gorgeous! It looked exactly as we planned and it was delivered at precisely the moment we asked for as well. Since the wedding, we've ordered cakes from virginia two more times! Every time it's superb.

The cake is usually the most important thing to a guest. I am not much of a cake person but when I had a bite of Virginia's cakes.....I fell in love. After the wedding, everyone was talking about the cake..."it looked amazing", "it tasted wonderful", "the best wedding cake we have had in years"....the comments go on and on. The cool thing about Virginia is that she makes a honeymoon cake that tastes as wonderful as the wedding cake. In our case, it worked out wonderfully because we were so busy during the wedding that we didn't get to eat cake...well, only the bites you have for the pictures....so the honeymoon cake worked out great for us. If you live in Houston and you want the best tasting cake, you need to go to Virginia's Cakes. They are by far, the best in Houston!!!!

We were looking for great tasting wedding cake. This is the spot! The groom's cake was great because the groom was a Red Sox fan and he got a cake that was just perfect.

PLEASE DONT COME HERE!!! If you are thinking about getting your wedding cake done here please dont!!! i ordered a 3 tier cake from her for my son's birthday party and the cake cracked as soon as the party started. it ruined everything....not to mention her staff is VERY rude and when i called to see if maybe I can get a partial refund she said it was nothing she can do. paid over 400 dollars on that cake and thats all she cared about was getting paid. Please dont use her service. I would hate for your special day to be ruined.

My cake was really beautiful and better yet, tasted GREAT!
