Rock N Robin

Rock N Robin was started back in 1992 by current owner / operator Robin Janson. Before that he was spinning in local clubs (yes kids spinning with vinyl and turntables) and was known as DJ Technoid…oh the horror of it all! Robin will lay claim to only knowing two things professionally. One is the hospitality industry where he attended the University of Houston and study Hotel and Restaurant Management and the second is Djing. I have had a passion for both of these industries since I can remember so that is why I have combined the two in the way we approach our clients before and during their events. This combination has created a very successful DJ service and a trusted name within our industry. Rock N Robin has done 1000’s of events from Birthday Parties, Corporate Events, to Weddings. Not to mention that our past clients consist of past Presidents, Heads of State, Celebrities, but more importantly the great folks of Houston. Currently Rock N Robin has downsized in the amount of shows it tries to book on any given day which is four. We are no longer trying to expand and cover every facility or every show. It just isn’t possible and even if it were you are probably not going to do a very good job. All of our DJs are exclusive to working at Rock N Robin and have been on staff for over six years, some have been on staff for over ten. That means experience isn’t a factor it is more about matching personalities together that fit. We do that by meeting with our clients in person, at their convenience, anytime of the day and at almost any location. Please give us a call if you have any questions.
